Some information about us

The cats along with Peter and Micke live in the house shown in the photo. The house is situated in Malmö and lies about 1 km from the city centre and only 300m from the sea

This southern city has a lot to offer: a pulsating city life, parks, the sea, close proximity to continental Europe etc. For more information about the city: www.malmo.se

The first Cornish Rex came in 1983 and she was called
CH Kazimirez Fancy Fleur and was also known by the name of Mullan. She came from Ingegerd Kilarne Holm who has the Kazimirez cattery
.
Our first litter arrived in 1986 and consisted of two kittens. After a day it was clear that we would keep the blue /white male named Alfonso, who was later to be called Ubbebubben.
He developed into a spoilt cat with charm, dignity and personality.
His brother (Gizmo) was sold and lived a good life.
Like so many other cat owners we decided to get more cats. A female called Kazimirez Konstanze came in 1987 if I remember correctly. Unfortunately she did not get on with the other cats so she moved to some friends of ours.

We let her have a litter in 1989 and kept a red/ white female Sheba (Fnuttet), a really affectionate cat.

During this time university studies and work took more and more of our time,
we were actually quite young then ... .

We took a break from shows and other “cat activities” and the cats got to live a tranquil family life here at home.

Time goes really quickly and Mullan left us in 2002, she was 19 years old then and had been healthy her whole life.
In 2004 we still had Ubbebubben and Fnuttet. They were both old and started to suffer from a variety of ailments. We realised that they would not live forever.

Old age and sickness took its toll and at the end of 2004 they both left us within the space of a week.

We had planned not to get a new cat for a while. But after a number of discussions we were in agreement that is was impossible to be without. You can read more about the cats we have at present on the webpage.

Now we have the time that is needed to go to shows and to be more “ cat active”.
